Sermon Notes:

We need to see that the only way to God is through the blood of Jesus.

I. The Old Testament system blocks the way to draw near to God (1-10).

a. Access is limited by the tabernacle (1-5).

b. Cleansing was impossible by the priestly sacrifice (6-10).

II. Jesus is the way for us to draw near God (11-14).

a. The way is opened by Jesus (11-12a).

b. The price is paid by Jesus (12b).

c. The worshipper is cleansed by Jesus (13-14)

1. Our conscience is cleansed (13-14a).

2. Our service is secured (14b).
